This plug-in does automated phone verification in two places:

1. verifies each paid subscription before the actual payment with automated phone calls. The verification is done just before the redirection to the payment processor.
2. account activation

Features:

1. Works at Account Activation step or before subscription payment
   
2. Supports phone or sms verification type, which can be set from administration page (Phone or SMS Only, User Select or auto select)
   
3. Automated number format checking
   
4. Built-in country code prefix adding (no need for country pull down)
   
5. Phone Verification template (what’s to be said on the phone call) can be customized
   
6. SMS Verification message can be configured
   
7. Automatically promote users to a specific group
   
8. Bypass verification for specific customer groups (like wholesale)
   
9. Limit #verifications
   
10. Set retry time between trials

Installation Instructions:

Two files are included in the package:

1. verify.php, this will go to VB4 root
2. product-onverify_phone_verify.xml: installation xml

Installation Steps:

1. Add a new User Profile field from AdminCP / User Profile Fields / Add a New User Profile Field
2. Note the field name (like field5)
3. Copy verify.php to the root of VB4
4. Import product-onverify_phone_verify.xml from AdminCP / Plugins & Products / Manage Products / "Add / Import Product"
5. Configure the product from AdminCP / Settings / Options / "OnVerify Phone Verification Option"
6. Set "Verify Email address in Registration" from AdminCP / Settings / Options / User Registration Options

Parameters

1. OnVerify UserID: Enter your userid from onverify.com
2. OnVerify apipass: Enter your apipass from onverify.com
3. OnVerify Template ID: Enter 1 that's from onverify. Under your account, Templates tab, you will see a sample template, which you can customize according to your needs, that effects the call flow
4. Number of calls: Limit the number of calls in a verification. 3 is suggested.
5. Number of digits in pin: Enter 4, but you can increase it
6. User Profile Field: The full field name you noted on step 2 (see Installation Steps)
7. Verification Type: Phone Call Only, does automated call, Phone or SMS (Auto detect Mobile); sends sms to mobile, calls the rest; SMS Only, sends pin in SMS Message; User Select; user can select verification type (phone or sms)
8. Is Verification Optional: You can turn on and off
9. Upgrade to this group after verification: If verification is completed your user can be promoted to this given group
10. Verify Paid Subscriptions: You can set to verify paid subscription payment trials before the payment
11. SMS Message: Message template, set it to Your pin is %s
12. Retry Time Limit (secs): Prohibits any verification retry, if done before the given seconds (45 suggested)

SMS Verification. Rather than a phone call, text message is sent to mobile phone
