Well vB being typical vB gives us an ugly modal box to tell us we have a new PM. This mod replaces that with a sexy jQuery slidy thingy!
Has lots of options for customizing the slider. Including optional jQuery include if you are already using jQuery on your forum. And automatic template edits
Also, the user must have the popup enabled for this to show up

It doesn't work?!
Well, the PM notification by default only shows up once anyway. This will behave the same. Also, if you send the PM to your self it wont show up. Best way to test is it to get a friend to send you a PM or use a test user and send your self one. Also, some of my users said that the javascript box that comes with vB doesn't work for them all the time. So that could also be a problem.
