You do not need to hack your board to have a vB powered news script.

I get asked nearly everyday about the portals vBhome,vBindex and vBportal. Many only install these for one feture, the news on homepage that it powered by vBulletin. Not only is it easy to manage, but it keeps you from updating a file all the time or install other scripts. Litte do newbies know, they do not need to hack their boards for this feture. The old news script http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21875&highlight=PluhNews dose just fine. It dosent require hacking of vBulletins core files. Only a few uploads and a include on your index.php (not vBulletins). Only posting this so i dont have to answer it everyday.
