This is not a polished up product; it's just the stuff you need to put the What's Going On (WGO) box on whatever page you want.
To put WGO on the forum display page all you need to do is find {vb:raw ad_location.forum_below_threadlist} on line 311 of FORUMDISPLAY and edit in as shown below
For other pages you will have to edit in THIS_SCRIPT and page template names into the three active plugins. You can move the "WGO: Render Whatsgoingon Template" plugin to either the start or complete hook location for the desired page or put it in global_start or global_complete
I've provided an inactive plugin for testing template hooks inside the WGO template. You can delete it if you want.
Installation:
Upload the product XML file in the product manager and do the edit described above
