if you use this mod or any idea of it in your site please take like .0001 second to click that install button over there --->

it lets me know that people actually like my release, thus making me excited to release more =) thank you!

Every other FB-bridge has or has had users facebook avatar displayed when the user is logged in so i figured why not get that to work with YAFB since its the only FB bridge working for vb3, and it was easier than i though it would be!

so first off make sure you have YAFB - Yay! Another Facebook Bridge installed and configured/working properly.

once installed/configured/all up and running the fb bridge

*NOTE this edit is for default or default like navbars, if your navbar is highly customized you may have to edit the code to fit your needs*
jump into your admincp and go to Styles & Templates, select your theme>edit templates
scroll down to navigation / breadcrumb templats (double click to expand) and select navbar

search for
Code:
<strong>$vboptions[bbtitle]</strong></div>
		</if>
	</td>
after this line of code paste
Code:
<if condition="$bbuserinfo[fbuid]">
                    <td class="alt2" align="center" style="width:51px;padding:4px;">
                <div style="position:relative;padding:3px;">
                    <a target="_new" href="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=$bbuserinfo[fbuid]">
                        <img width="40" height="40" alt="Connected with Facebook" src="https://graph.facebook.com/$bbuserinfo[fbuid]/picture" title="Connected with Facebook" border="0" >
                        <img style="width: 15px; height: 15px; position: absolute; left: 2px; top: -3px; z-index: 2;" alt="Connected with Facebook" src="$vboptions[bburl]/fbb/facebook_logo_16x16.gif" title="Connected with Facebook" border="0" />
                    </a>
                </div>
            </td>
</if>
then click save

now when your user is logged in with facebook they will be able to tell since there avatar will display.

additional notes
with YAFB installed you have a new if condition for fb users.
here is a quick example of this new condition
Code:
<if condition="$bbuserinfo[fbuid]">
FACEBOOK USER
<else />
NORMAL USER
</if>
feel free to expand on this and please share if you come up with anything else =)
lets keep the vb3 fb bridge alive
