Forums Closed Internal Reason by Rafael Lopez

This is a very simple plugin [with 1 template edit..
] which adds an internal reason for closing the forums.
Most forums have a very general reason for closing forums which is displayed to the normal users "down for a few hours! Check back then!" etc.
This plugin will let you add more information to the "Alert: The forums are currently turned off!" phrase for a more detailed reason.
Of course, this will only be displayed to administrators.
::: Installation :::
Extract product-internal_closing.xml
Upload product-internal_closing.xml by going to ADMIN CP --> PLUGINS AND PRODUCTS --> MANAGE PRODUCTS --> ADD/IMPORT PRODUCT
Oh how I wish we were done. Unfortunately we must make a template edit (I know, I hate them too).
And you're done!
You can edit the internal message on the same page that you close the forums and set a public reason/message.

The template is called board_inactive_warning. Replace $vbphrase[alert_board_off] with $vbphrase[alert_board_off] ($icr) The entire template should end up looking like this: <div align="center" style="color: red; background-color: white; border: 1px solid black; padding:2px">$vbphrase[alert_board_off] ($icr)</div>
And you're done!
