If you're looking for a good legible dark style then check this one out. This is one of my fav styles. I also use this style on my forum for 3.0.x. If a lot of people like this let me know and I will let you have the forum version when I update it in March.

To Install:

Unzip vBulletin_heavy_metal.zip and upload vBulletin_heavy_metal folder to cpstyles in your forums folder (forum/cpstyles)
Before Logging into your Admin control panel use the option button to select this style.
Login and don't get cut.. LOL.
